At Vantage Point, we encourage our team to invest time and energy in the issues most important to them.  Our staff contributes to a number of local organizations and initiatives, all aimed at building a stronger future for our community.

We hope you’ll follow the links below and learn about the organizations and activities in which Vantage Point personnel are involved:

• Eric Abrahamson serves on the board of Benchmark Data Labs. He also serves on the South Dakota Humanities Council and the board of the John T. Vucurevich Foundation. He is a former chair of the South Dakota State Library Board and served on the Rapid City Area Schools Board of Education.

• Lois Facer volunteers as a tutor for the Literacy Council of the Black Hills, which helps students improve their English literacy skills. She is also an active member of the Rapid City branch of the American Association of University Women.

• Eric Zimmer sits on the board of the Shamus Project, a non-profit organization that raises funds and awareness about literacy, healthy living, and diabetes prevention, and focuses on Native American communities, and the Journey Museum and Learning Center in Rapid City, South Dakota.  

• We are also proud supporters of the Rapid City Area Chamber of Commerce’s Mitakuye Oyasin (All are Related) Community Pledge:
